Billionaire Elon Musk has officially launched his new artificial intelligence system, Grok 3, developed by his company xAI.

The model is designed to compete at the highest level with ChatGPT, OpenAI’s AI system, and has already been described by experts as “terrifyingly intelligent.” 

The launch took place at an exclusive event attended by the main tech executives alongside Elon Musk. During the presentation, the “Chatbot Arena,” a platform designed to compare AI systems, ranked Grok 3 above OpenAI and Google developments, highlighting its performance in programming, mathematical problem-solving, and language understanding tasks. 

Grok 3 arrives as a direct response to recent advancements from the Chinese company DeepSeek, whose R1 model had reached levels comparable to ChatGPT.

According to Chatbot Arena rankings, Musk’s system now leads globally, outperforming both Google’s Gemini and R1, securing its position among the most advanced artificial intelligences in the world.

On social media, Elon Musk celebrated Grok 3’s top ranking and record-breaking scores in multiple categories.

Experts note that the model demonstrates clear superiority in tasks where other systems struggle, boosting expectations for its applications in business and personal use. Currently, Grok is available to X Premium+ subscribers. 

Musk also emphasized xAI’s futuristic vision: combining Grok 3 with Optimus, Tesla’s humanoid robot, and SpaceX’s Starship rockets, which could one day travel to Mars. “The mission of xAI and Grok is to understand the universe. We want to answer fundamental questions about life, extraterrestrials, and the fate of the cosmos. To do this, we must rigorously seek the truth,” he stated. 

Grok 3 marks a new chapter in the race for advanced artificial intelligence, directly challenging industry leaders such as OpenAI and Google. The arrival of this model raises expectations about how AI could transform productivity, scientific research, and eventually space exploration.
