Former president Donald Trump once again sparked social media attention by publicly attacking singer Taylor Swift after she expressed her support for Vice President Kamala Harris in the U.S. presidential race.
“I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!” Trump posted Sunday morning on his platform Truth Social in all caps, offering no context or explanation.
The post came after Swift announced last week on Instagram that she intends to vote for Harris for president, praising her leadership and calm approach. Swift’s post, which included a link to Vote.gov, drove more than 400,000 visitors to the official voter information site within 24 hours.

In her message, Swift wrote: “I’m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a champion. I think she’s a talented and strong leader, and I believe we can achieve much more in this country if we are guided by calm, not chaos.”
The singer also criticized Trump for previously using an AI-generated image to make it appear she supported him.
The relationship between Trump and Swift has been complicated. In the past, the former president praised Swift’s appearance and talent, while noting that her political views were liberal and different from his own.
After her public endorsement of Harris, Trump stated he was no longer a fan of Swift and warned that she would “probably pay a price in the market.”
During an interview on “Fox & Friends,” Trump compared Swift to Brittany Mahomes, wife of quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who is friends with Swift’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce. Trump expressed a preference for Mahomes, emphasizing political and personal alignment, while criticizing Swift again for supporting Harris.
